It’s said Bruce Springsteen set out to create the ultimate Rock & Roll album — and to many of his fans — Born To Run achieved just that (note: I vastly prefer Darkness On The Edge of Town). This past week marks the 30th anniversary of one of the genre’s most heralded albums. Released in 1975 Born To Run was the vehicle that broke Springsteen to a much wider audience. This re-issue is packed with extras, most notably the band’s show at London’s Hammersmith Odeon in November 1975. Below are two favorite tracks off the original LP.
