By the 2005 album Bodies And Minds, Tony Dekker’s songwriting vehicle Great Lake Swimmers, had become a fully realized touring band. Not the case with his 2003 self-titled release. Recorded in an abandoned grain silo, this album showcases Dekker’s voice and guitar, save a couple of tracks with additional instrumentation. Mark Kozelek meets a subdued My Morning Jacket.
