Is Spiderland my favorite album of the ’90s? That’s tough…I can’t say for sure, but it’s pretty damn close. It still resonates with me as much as it did at the time of initial release. I won’t go into all the bands Slint influenced over the past 15+ years as it’s obvious once you hear the music. Slint’s career, while short lived, was highly original.
