“We play songs about books!” I first heard these guys last summer via Matt at You Ain’t No Picasso. They have been a somewhat guilty pleasure ever since. Their schtick? Basically they crib the whole Harry Potter thing, from their wardrobe down to their song lyrics. Ridicuous, yes. Entertaining, absolutely. They tour the East coast quite a bit — from clubs to public librarys (fitting, no?) — so if you go check them out, do drop me a note and tell me about it, as I imagine the Live show is straight corn nuts.
