On Friday I got a copy of the Tortoise & Bonnie “Prince” Billy collaboration that came out earlier this year. Prior to Friday, I had only let myself listen to their cover of Daniel as I wanted to absorb the album as a whole. So glad I waited — total re-invention with excellent results. Here are the two most obvious covers featured in the set.
