I do like me some polarizing artists — makes it more fun somehow. Vic Chesnutt is such an artist; you are either in his camp or you wanna get as far away as possible. Other examples of this include, but not limited to: The Jesus Lizard, any Will Oldham project. What to my ears sounds like raw pieces of brilliance, sounds to some as raw, lazy shit.
