To be honest, if I had spent more time with Alligator last year before making the “‘best of ‘05″ list, chances are, ol’ Sufjan might have had a real run for his money. Regardless, The National quickly became a staple around these parts toward year’s end. Tonight the mrs. and I are heading out to see them and Talkdemonic do there thing at The Troubadour. There may be better sounding rooms here in Los Angeles, but I always have a damn good time whenever I side up to the bar at the Troub for a show. Tonight should prove no different. An added bonus is getting to meet this gentleman and his wife who are in town for the show.
