“Heavily anticipated” hardly begins to express the level of enthusiasm Built To Spill fans have pent up since the band’s last full-length, 2001’s Ancient Melodies From the Future. Tomorrow sees the release of the band’s sixth proper album — their fourth on Warner Brothers. Good news — the band’s instrumental tendencies are back….meaning the openness of the sound. I have the feeling a lot of these tracks will really get the full-on workout treatment on tour early this Summer.
