If you have yet to take in a live Centro-matic show, the Drunkard emphatically hopes that you will — and soon. The band landed Tuesday night here in L.A. at The Troubadour opening with a tender version of “Love You Just The Same” off the Flashes & Cables EP. This was my first experience hearing this tune live, and it gave me chills. The ensuing evening rained distorted guitars, fiddle, keys, bottom heavy bass, whipcrack snare, and the voice that ties it all together…Will Johnson.
