One of the more jaw-dropping DJ sets I have laid eyes and ears on was J Rocc’s Stones Throw tribute to J Dilla this past January here in L.A. at the PLUG L.A. event. Skills. If this is your bag, head over to Gorilla vs. Bear as he has posted the Stones Throw ‘Thank You J Dilla’ Podcast mixed by J Rocc. I couldn’t agree with Chris more when he states “This mix checks in at about an hour and sixteen minutes long, not one second wasted. ” On point.
