As always, unreleased or impossible-to-find music found here has sent me to the music store for more. I remember the old Reprise lost leaders, where you bought an album of songs for a buck, got a taste, then went out and bought the real thing. Your site shows the power that people who know the music and a couple of well-selected cuts can have on an audience. (Picks up soapbox and goes back to the 'phones.) Thanks for the reminder.

Great post. I've been meaning to write about this record for some time actually. Truth be told, it's my second favorite stones album (behind Let it Bleed) which I know is pure blasphemy to Stones fans, but hey, my taste runs to the more psych-friendly trippy stuff, and while they might be derivitive here, they are no less than awesome. Hell, I even like the Bill Wyman song on this record. I've always thought it was unfairly maligned. Glad to know someone else agrees.
