that france gall song really speaks to what makes humans “human;” and if you aren’t down with song, then i question your ability to sympathize/empathize and to construct complicated ideas. further, if can’t dig on it, then you are no more morally considerable than slugs or cockroaches.

I get the female singer idea of this post, but I don’t know how you can make a list of great Tarantino soundtrack songs and leave out “Stuck In the Middle With You” from Reservoir Dogs. Every time I hear that song, I think of that scene. It’s a classic!!!

Love this post, Drunkard. Love Pam Grier. Love that she sings that song. But I have to say, my favorite QT soundtrack tune for les femmes is actually Urge Overkill’s diddy from Pulp Fiction.

best ever series.

as a kid I made movies just so I could soundtrack them with rock music! sometimes, a great song won’t get noticed until a director frames it with the right imagery. every time you hear a song from a Tarantino movie, you think back to him. it’s like he owns the songs forever afterwards.

thanks for the tracks, but let’s not forget music supervisor mary ramos who has worked on evert tarantino project and has surely had a big part in choosing songs for all of the soundtracks.
