Heads up, filmmaker Craig Zobel’s Great World of Sound will hit theaters mid September in select cities around the country. It’s great — go see it, and find out how music really gets made, a ha ha ha. We had the opportunity to catch a screening this summer at the Los Angeles Film Festival and were as pulled in by the film’s humanity as we were the humor, which is no small feat.

As an added bonus Ola Podrida’s David Wingo scored the film, and as you know, we are big fans. Check out Podrida’s take on the film’s “New National Anthem,” which plays during the credits, and this outtake from the film.
