
Giddy up. Have you heard the new Lee Bob Watson record yet? Wait, let’s take it a step back — have you heard of Navada City, CA’s Lee Bob Watson? Ole Lee Bob is part of the roster on the Californina based Grass Roots label.
After getting turned on, piece meal, via various message boards and blog posts, we finally got our hands on a copy. So far Aficionado is being touted across the board; ranging from a solid roots record — to one of the best “indie-country” LPs of the year. Here at the Drunkard, we think it falls somewhere between the two. Check him out below.
Also: Lee Bob is set to play the Silverlake Lounge, here in L.A., along with Drunkard favorite, Pink Nasty, on September 18th.
