It is my favorite record of pavements and grounded might be my favorite song ever (as pavement are my favorite band) I've gotta say though, when I saw Pavement Re-Grounded the first thing I thought was 'thank you so much god, pavement have announced a reunion' alas, no new developments have been made on that front. Undoubtedly some of my very favorite songs come from it: "Grounded," natch, and "Pueblo" especially. You know the little tingly part in the demo version? Dig the "don't let it" just before the rock-out at the end. I think this is even called "crooked rain version" on a matador comp. Great post.
