My subscription lapsed last year and I missed this issue. As luck would have it, OA's own site is sold out and I've lost copies on both eBay and Amazon to other people.

Is there any way you have a copy of this magazine you'd be willing to sell? Or even just the CD? At this point I'd even take a burned copy of the CD. The magazine is great, but the CD is even better.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

I love the Roches, but was disappointed to see them on the comp. Only by stretching things really thin can you claim that "Hammond Song" is Southern.

A great CD in any event.

I've got a few of these, and this one is pretty strong, I think. The Mayo Thompson track (and the Red Crayola article) were real eye-openers. It seems like they steered away from the huge names that pepper past mixes and aimed for a greater amount of obscurity. And rap finally gets acknowledged.

THANK YOU for alerting me of this issue! The last one I had was with Elvis on the cover, and the accompanying comp was one of the best I've ever had. We would let it play all the time. From what I can recognize, this one looks to be top class as well.
