I wouldn’t say my comment about Vedder is negative, only that the cover just wasn’t that thrilling.

And not to step on your toes, AD, but I will throw out that I think PJ’s “Insignificance” is a pretty amazing song. There have been some latter-day Pearl Jam highlights, though they’ve been few and far between for me. But for the converted, I’m sure their output has been pretty consistent.

Haven’t heard all of the soundtrack yet (it’s in my Amazng shoppping basket!) but did see the film at a screening the other weekend. The performance of Going Down to Acapulco is fantastic. Here’s my first take on the movie:
