I’m gonna play this show in the car on my way to Mardi Gras this February!

Yeah you rite! That’s funkier than a mile of red beans and collard greens. The show was broadcast on WNOE-FM from a show in Fat City — you don’t get much more N’Awlins than that. Makes me miss growing up there.

I was so excited to get an email from a friend across the country directing me to this, knowing well that I would be ecstatic!

The Meters are one of the funkiest, grittiest bands ever and I also have a hard time finding live shows and vinyl where I live (although I did finally find a vinyl last week across town)…

I’m lovin’ it! Especially the part where the lead singer is practically begging the drunk guy to get off the mike and let the ladies (who he obviously wanted in the first place) have a chance.
