I bought it when it was released in 2000 and never go too long without giving the entire thing a listen. Yes, perhaps the greatest album to ever come out of Athens (not that I've heard every single one, mind you, but I have been paying attention since I bought the B-52's debut in '79), and for me the last truly great album I've heard... meaning that I've not heard a better album from anyone in the decade since it was released. I've never been to Athens, but hope to pay a visit one day. So Ross S. manages School Kids Records? Interesting. Could the Drunkard (or someone) please swing by and ask him where the hell the follow up is? I've been waiting a long time, damn it! The Glands second album is indeed the best thing to come out of Athens in the last 10 or so years, but that's to say it's the best ever is an awfully bold statement considering early REM output and Vic Chesnutt.
