[...] New Music Friday: Fifty-Fourth Edition Greetings - oops, hit 'publish' instead of save. Anyways, here's the collection of free n' clear music this week :) First up, check out IDA, over at Brooklyn Vegan. Next up, our buddies at RockInsider drop another Evangelicals track, plus a few more bands for you to check out. As frequent reader/commenter Eddie says "Evangelicals are win" If you're a fan of David Bazan, head over to MOKB. And if you're not a fan, head over to MOKB. Sweet! Pick up an R.E.M. track over at Aquarium Drunkard. And Counting Crows (my favorite person's favorite band) are giving away two tracks - pick them up on their site. Head over to 'Tracks for a Rancid download. I mean, um, the punk band. Don't take that the wrong way Winning this week's designation as most peculiar band name, Pig Destroyer's got an MP3 over at Stereogum Fans of hip hop, check out Clipse/Re-up gang over at Gorilla vs Bear Continuing in NMF's long tradition of awesome covers that are awesome, Of Montreal cover M.I.A, over at You Ain't no Picasso. In a grooving mood? Go pick up this track by Colin Munroe at Arjan Writes And last but certainly not not-awesome, The Gutter Twins rock Cleveland. Ok,enjoy the music, the new software update, and have a great weekend! | Friday, January 25, 2008 6:35 PM | 4 Comments Tags: new music, Friday [...]
