It's not what I was expecting; I guess more of an acoustic Retribution Gospel Choir kinda thing. Instead it's very Dulli, much more so than Lanegan. I never really got into the Afghan Whigs or the Twilight Singers, wheras I love the Screaming Trees and the Lanegan solo stuff. Fingers crossed it's a grower. The album as a whole doesn't grab your attention at all. This might have worked better as an EP.
