This will do it for our ‘08 SXSW coverage - but I wanted to make sure to throw up some photos from Saturday’s Hot Freaks party. Highlights included: The Whigs bombastic set on the Mohawk’s outside stage (at 1pm), Kevin Barnes covering the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, and M.I.A.; Frankel’s John Cale-like cover of Nick Drake, the rowdy set by L.A.’s Le Switch, and Peelander Z literally climbing the walls.
