So sad that all indie bands are so boringly, reflexively lefty. I remember getting a New Zealand comp many years ago called 'Killing Capitalism with Kindness.' How ridiculous. How can bands that thrive in a system of free enterprise (and esp. folks like Mac who are obviously good entrepreneurs, creating a solid record label from scratch) fail to see that they should be libertarians, and that Dems tend to take what's bad about Republicans and add a whole extra layer of nanny-state dysfunction.
