I like their musicianship, but the opening yell reminds me alot of Win Butler and his band. Incredibly similar in sound, I even stopped the song after 18 seconds. I’ll give the whole thing a listen and I am sure I will be pleased, I simply couldn’t help speaking about the eerie likenesses in the first seconds of the song with Arcade Fire’s sound.

This is a cool feature. It’s always interesting to read these.

That’s an odd definition of “N. California”, I’ve got to say. San Francisco is pretty much dead center of the state, but it’s “Northern California.” Fine.

San Luis Obispo (and Morro Bay) is much more “central” or possibly even “southern”, I’d say.

That’s a perspective from “Northern California” at least.
