Well said, well written. It really is ashame that Rolling Stone neglected to leave Bo Diddley off their list (and put such bands like Tool on it). I bet the editor is kicking himself for that. Anyways, he will be missed (wish I could have seen him live).

What a video! Brought tears to my eyes, seeing and hearing all those young people screaming for an almost 40 year old man way back in 1966. So innocent.

Check out his album Tales from the Funk Dimension 1970-73 its got some great covers on there. He does a good version of The Bands The Shape Im In.
