My Morning Jacket Vinyl Giveaway / Crosley Portable Turntable

Another reason you might want to tune in to the show on SIRIUS is that I often give away vinyl, CDs, and tickets. Right now I have some My Morning Jacket vinyl to giveaway, plus a Crosley Portable turntable. Interested? Hit up the comments with your name and email.
I would love the MMJ vinyl and a shot at the turntable. I’m listening to the show now, and it’s fantastic!
1 | Jonathan Adel June 13th, 2008 at 12:32 pmSweet! The show is wonderful as usual.
2 | Derek June 13th, 2008 at 12:52 pmI will personally kidnap and deliver to you the president of the United States as a trade for this.
3 | Travis Woods June 13th, 2008 at 1:21 pmYou have no idea how much I would enjoy the MMJ vinyl.
4 | James (Jimmy) Miller June 13th, 2008 at 1:37 pmAt the moment, my dad and I are working on installing a new turntable, speakers, etc. in my grandpa and grandma’s old record cabinet. It’s been gutted, and I’m so anxious to get it up and running. Further to that, I want my two-year-old daughter to grow up listening to vinyl on the “new family record cabinet”.
Thanks for this awesome opportunity!!
I would love the MMJ vinyl. Me and my buddy have been going thru my dads old tube amp. We’ve been starting to get back into the vinyl stuff. Everything sounds so warm on vinyl going thru this old tube amp. very organic sounding..
5 | Kevin Williams June 13th, 2008 at 2:02 pmThis is exactly what the entire orphanage has been praying for, all the little leper kids love Jim James! We also have a hospital here for baby animals, and all the little owls, seals, and puppies cant sleep with out the sweet MMJ jamz.
6 | M Pace June 13th, 2008 at 2:37 pmI’d like the MMJ vinyl, because i blast Touch Me I Want To Scream (Pt. 2) in my living room with the curtains open, while wearing nothing but black velvet socks. And I have a mustache. People think I love Jim James. They’re right.
7 | Mike June 13th, 2008 at 2:38 pmI want that MMJ vinyl! The show is awesome! I actually got a Sirius satellite radio just to listen to your show. Well, you and Howard Stern.
8 | Emanuel Ochoa June 13th, 2008 at 2:44 pmI love love all the tasteful cuts, this blog is always been worth the read and the addition of LOC is honestly the only time I unplug my ipod.
9 | Steven June 13th, 2008 at 3:48 pmLong time MMJ fan here. Definitely the most eclectic of the blog radio shows! I love that you play good songs from all genres and decades. I also dig your taste in Athens bands!
10 | Stephen June 13th, 2008 at 4:39 pmooooh i would love to acquire this.

12 | Skinny Love June 13th, 2008 at 5:55 pmI’m a big MMJ fan and could use the turntable to replace my broken on.
13 | Imran June 13th, 2008 at 6:46 pmIf I won this i’d have something to give my fiancée for our wedding. Since she can’t marry jim she can hold the records when she sleeps.
14 | Nick Bahula June 13th, 2008 at 8:02 pmGreat show. I turn to this every Friday at noon or if I miss it I catch it at midnight after the bars. Playlist was particularly good. Glad to see Wilco and Ryan Adams back. “Misunderstood” is one of my favorite Wilco songs because of that first line: “When you’re back in your old neighborhood The cigarettes taste so good.” Incredible. The MMJ is great, particularly “I’m Amazed.” Very good guitar solo. And hey my vinyl player from the 70s is starting to crap out. A new one would be fantastic. Thanks for the oppurtunity!
15 | Brian June 13th, 2008 at 8:29 pmTo a fellow XTC fan, Cheers!
16 | Wes Hanks June 13th, 2008 at 9:25 pmLove the show and MMj, so being from KY it would be a blessing to have a little help to spread the gospel of my fellow Kentuckians…. Peace
17 | Travis Mims June 13th, 2008 at 9:26 pmI have no hard luck story. I just appreciate the fact that you play us real songs: like “Camptown Lady”.
Not only was [that] authentic frontier gibberish, but it expressed a courage that is little seen in this day and age.
18 | Ed June 13th, 2008 at 10:15 pmGood choice on the Califone song in your Playlist this week. One of my all time favourite cover songs.

41 | craig June 17th, 2008 at 7:51 pmLove the show. I am looking forward to hearing the album on Vinyl. Unfortunately it is on back order at Waterloo and I haven’t been able to hear it yet
. I am rebuilding a vintage stereo system to listen to my vinyl on I got a kick ass Marantz and some Kenwood Speakers from the early 70s, now I just need a decent turntable. I love the album, except track 3, which I think was some sort of a bad joke.
42 | Eron Linver June 18th, 2008 at 5:17 pmNot sure if you’re still taking submissions for winning the vinyl, but please enter me if so.
Am I the only one who LIKES “highly suspicious”?? I think it needs a video with huge Muppets. Like, now.
43 | Jim Hanke June 19th, 2008 at 10:32 amDid anyone hear if they won the turntable and vinyl?
