It was the kind of show that, for those who were elsewhere, you just can't explain to them what they missed. There aren't that many bands with as much passion for what they're doing and it's a shame. Thank god for the Avett Brothers, they deserved every bit of the response their audience gave them after their set. Other than Trey's encore, which seemed taken for granted, the Avetts were the only band I saw whose audience demanded that they encore. The Avett Brothers easily played the best set that weekend.
