I mean this in the most anti-evil internet type way but honestly, why am I turning on Left of Center 26, the indie & underground station I turn to for discovery of NEW music not for underground soul classics.
It’s not that I don’t enjoy your show and the music that is played, it’s just not what I am looking for when I turn to LOC.
Is there some sort of theme with your show or is it just completely free form?
I think Sirius Disorder would be a better fit for Blog Radio.
1 | Armando August 8th, 2008 at 12:55 pmArmando, Its “blog” radio. we play whatever we feel like. That being said, there is usually “indie” tunes mixed in as well.
2 | Satisfied '75 August 8th, 2008 at 3:08 pmthis show was the hotness! i love the variety – keep it up!
3 | mikey August 8th, 2008 at 3:28 pmLoved today’s show. Heard some new-to-me underground soul classics. Keep diggin!
4 | jason August 8th, 2008 at 4:56 pmBest show I’ve heard on there thus far. I know their bread & butter is M.I.A. and Pavement, but this was refreshing.
5 | Andru August 8th, 2008 at 5:51 pmKILLER playlist/mix this week. really impressive old soul stuff and i’m a HUGE fan of the tyrone cover by MMJ. i have it and it’s nice to see it make the playlist as i don’t think most people know they cover that…
keep up the good work!
6 | todd August 15th, 2008 at 11:55 amKeep up the good work guys! Blog radio is the highlight of my SIRIUS listening.
7 | Dylan August 15th, 2008 at 12:21 pmI love LOC, but sometimes I get sick of hearing Fleet Foxes 12 times a day. Thank you so much for broadening the scope of music. Shouldn’t an “indie” station be all about variety anyways? Your playlists are great! Best show on Sirius.
8 | Chris August 15th, 2008 at 7:08 pmbroseph, che che cole is fucking awesome, thanks for giving me the heads up
9 | jason August 16th, 2008 at 12:48 amDude, I wanna do what this american apparel add guy is doing to this playlist. i know we LOC listeners are haterz by nature, but these songs were funktabulous. peace.
