This is the best news I have read all week. (And I just read that McCain picked some nobody lady from Alaska, so it had that to compete with). I don’t mean to get all political, I am just very excited about the Criterion Bottle Rocket. Darjeeling needs to be next.

Mothersbaugh is a scoring master. I actually wrote a pretty whimsical paper (10 ish pages) for a film music class on the Ping Island scene of Zissou.

yeah man- great film. Mark M - is a brilliant music supervisor- at least for used LP classics geek like me-self. Rushmore was ace. Was not aware that he did scores too- I used to see Gerard Casale around town when I lived in LA- Devo is world class- somehow- their genius needs to be elevated - not enough bands or music press testify. We need to change that.
