These songs make Christmas music look hip. Old country and soul Christmas music is unbeatable and, with some indie rock Christmas (i.e. Sufjan Stevens amongst others) produces an unbeatable Christmas playlist. Thanks to music blogs, we don’t have to suffer by listening to Last Christmas by Wham! anymore.

great stuff, i remember some from last year. My fav. is still the Stax Soul Xmas CD. “Everyday will be like a holiday” by William Bell is my favorite xmas song of all time. so beautiful and good enough to listen to all year round.
