Even though I'm a little biased, the HCP and Le Switch are albums that have truly grown just more and more and more on me. I have a new favorite song of each record about once a week and all the songs I wasn't so hot on at release I now love.

Hey, great review of The Henry Clay People. Never heard them before. If I had a single penny in my account I'd buy it right now but I don't so I'll just listen to 'working part time' again... cheers!

Le Switch's "Country Song" was the best song released on an Autumn Tone album this year (all albums and songs from Autumn Tone that I have are immensly enjoyed). Le Switch combines the best components of indie rock, 1960s folk, and the occasional rock, blues, soul, and Feist ("Give Me Something") influences. The beginning of "Country Song" evokes a Johnny Rivers song, but superb.
