i saw bob and the boston spaceships live recently, and became obsessed with GBV. i’ve bought a new album every other day for a week or so. the ‘same place the fly got smashed’ is a very cool record. the lyrics of ‘drinker’s peace’ are pretty cool, when you realize he’s talking about alcohol, not a girl.

I am glad to see the legacy of GBV live on. We here in Dayton couldn’t be more proud. And it is always nice to look at photos of Bob without gray hair…
