Had the opportunity to see him once, on a whim, my friend had an extra ticket. All though it was a large theater it truly was an intimate performance. Also, Crooked Fingers does a great version of Sunday Morning Coming Down on the Reservoir Songs Ep.

April 4th eh? U2 hollars “April 4th shots rang out across the memphis sky…” and that is my bday and I always associated King’s assassination with my bday and memphis which made me think of all my pals who went to Rhodes, your crew now I guess, but this is a cool tale man. 95 was a fine year for the song/sound/musica eh? I miss it.

Didn’t Kristofferson get famous or known sweeping floors and he handed Cash a tape and he covered Sunday Morning Coming Down? I have a track where he talks a lil about that…lot of vintage stuff in this post. I don’t know if that is the track you got up here, b/c my player is acting messed, but yea that would be cool.

love this song. there is a radio show in Northern Fl area called Sunday Morning Coming Down. love it. they always play great Alt Country bands. the song itself isnt to bad.
