finally got around to reading this lengthy piece. glad i did- i missed out on all this stuff when it originally went down and am enjoying incorporating it into my life. a recounting like this helps me get a sense of what it was like to be young & obsessed during that time. thanks for posting!

Just TRYING to work your way into being a roadie was 1000% more than most others ever accomplish at 21/22. Awesome story about meeting Ryan Adams.

It’s amazing to think that Wilco was that big twelve years ago. The fact that they’ve evolved so much and stuck around for this long really puts them into another category of success in my mind. Cool story.

great, great story and read. just meeting the band during that time in their career and the fun run in with ryan adams makes that an experience that i and many others would kill for. i owe you a drink next time i see you for this.
