This interview does a great job of maintaining an affable conversation that provides insight into the artists' personalities and thoughts, instead of just providing information. The range of topics was great. Their take on different forms of media was both fascinating and humorous. I enjoyed the part about how the music changes live, and I especially loved the TMNT question.

Yeah, what's with the venom Monkey? A light-hearted interview with a band member about his likes, dislikes, live performance, and recording. Jeez, how pretentious...

I guess so, otherwise you'd be in the gallows circus monkey.

I love when an interview becomes a freewheeling conversation rather than a stuffy Q&A session. Especially when a good deal of that conversation deals with physical media v. digital media, a pretty relevant topic considering the decade's winding up. We're all reflecting on the how music culture's been shifting from the former to the latter over the past ten years, and it's great to hear an artist's take on the issue.

Why are you even bothering with the interview? Good thing pretentiousness is not a hanging offence, isn't it?
