I picked this album up when they opened for Folk Imposion at the Middle East. I was completely blown away by their sound and agree that if it dropped 5 years ago – or TODAY – it would still be totally relevant, and sought after.

I always heard they had a third record in the can, but either because of Ross or the label or both, it was never released. I’d like to hear those tapes.

@ JC – I assume the vinyl is way out of print? I have looked for years and have yet to find one. I know it comes with extra tracks (that I have never heard)

If you lived in Athens at the time, these guys were the biggest thing around. They didn’t play many shows it seemed, but they would always be overflowing with people. I seem to remember that their first record label went bellyup right when they released the album and then they had to find another one, which really killed the momentum. Anyways, I love this album. JW

Glad to see the Glands made the list. I’ve currently got a borrowed vinyl of the album on my shelf. I may return it one day…

Great post. Love this album. One of my all-time favorites, and always difficult to find others who are familiar. What did these guys go on to do?
