With the exception of this album, I have never asked the people at the front desk of the record store what’s playing over the speakers. This is SUCH a great album.

There was an interview in Wired a few months ago where it was stated that January, 2010 would be when ‘Transit Transit’ drops. Cross your fingers!!!

Wow, I’ve never heard these guys before. The name seems like something out of the 90s, but based on “Turnstile Blues” I just went and got the whole thing at eMusic. Really stunning.

Truly a great album from start to finish. Still sounds fresh and innovative today, grungy but refined and oh so catchy.

Great post!! I have listened to this album more times than I could possibly count and the sonic textures continue to unfold and reward with every spin. Hopefully their follow-up LP will see the light of day in my lifetime and be even half as good as Future Perfect. Well done, Scott!

This album still glows. “Here Comes Everybody” is one of my favorite cruising songs. Great review of a fine album.
