Oh my gosh, yes. This is one of the greatest. “Only Someone Running” takes the cake in my book. Not sure that I heard a more beautiful song this decade.

I’ve liked many of the Decade choices, many of which surprised me they did not fit in with the Aquarium Drunkard flavor, but as much as I enjoy Superwolf I think Oldham’s standout of the decade is The Letting Go.

for those of you familair with Liverpools infamous/amazing win over ACMilan in the european cup final i was in a taxi coming back from the pub that night extremely drunk and happy. a DJ played ‘Lift Us Up’ off this album which brought many tears to my eyes and seemed so apt. he dedicated it to liverpool fans everywhere, surely the bizzarest W Oldham/Football link ever (and possibly the only one). I hear hes a Celtic fan himself.
I agree with James here, the first of your decade entires which does it for me

Strangely, I’ve never been able to get into this record like a lot of people have. It’s definitely good, but I just can’t connect to it. Will Oldham is one of my favorite musicians of all time, but I really liked his collaboration with Sweeney on “Ease Down The Road” better.

Although the two songs picked here, along with “I Gave You,” are spectacular.
