To each his own, I reckon. While I’ve been enjoying this Record Club record immensely (obsessively, even), I thought this was the weakest and most self-indulgent track yet. I implore readers to dig back further into this record for real, moving beauty: The A cappella “All Come To Meet Her”, Feist’s funky soul on “Weighted Down”, the haunting “War In Peace”, the infectious “Little Hands” and throughout, utterly jaw-dropping guitar work by Nels Cline. This was one of my favorite albums of last year, and it’s not even complete yet.

@Dan, totally. I used to have a few of the tracks as mp3s, but never bought it. Need to remedy that as this latest beck project has me listening to the original again.
