If you’re looking for a Halloween radio programme to get you geared for the weekend, I seriously have you covered this Friday on my SIRIUS XMU show. If you don’t have the satellite radio hookup you can always do the free, three day, trial.

Things will be bouncing all over the place focused on the absurd, the weird and the weirder. The below is a taste…what must qualify as one of the more disturbing pieces to be laid down on tape; Evariste’s 1967 “Connais tu l’animal qui inventa le calcul intégral.” Very little idea what is going on in this track (it’s in French) except to note it sounds like a mix of ritual séance, orgy(?), and, well, a fucked up variety show. Good fun, kids. Put this on, tip ’em back, scare the tricker treaters.

  1. Awesomeness. Truly.

  2. Nah, no orgy in this song. He sings about integral calculus and random things, like a cow named Chipette and he laughs at ”yéyés” (musical movement from the 60’s, very popular in France and Québec, where I’m from).
